The revision of the Potable Water Supply Act has allowed for potable water installations and air conditioning systems, that legionella prevention has become an essential part of design and management responsibilities. Hence, clients are often confronted with new regulations and obligations. Depending on the nature and function of the project, its obligations go beyond the ‘Duty of Care’. This often means that the client must have an active management policy for the collective ducting installations.The Blaay-Van den Bogaard Consulting Engineers BV follows the developments of the government and has technical knowledge of various (alternative) disinfection methods and will implement this knowledge with her clients.
